Most people arrive here needing one fact rather than a conversation, so those are first. If yours is not below, the address is at the bottom and a person reads every message.

My documents haven't come through.

Email us and we will sort it. If something has broken at our end and the documents do not arrive, the refund policy says we fix it or refund you in full — you are not left holding a payment for something you never received.

Is anything going to be taken from my card later?

No. Groundwork is a single payment of £299, not a subscription. Nothing renews, and there is no card on file to charge again. The first stage is free and needs no card at all.

I want my data deleted, or a copy of it.

Email us and say which you want. You have that right under UK data protection law and we do not make you argue for it. What we hold, how long, and the rest of your rights are set out in the privacy policy.

Something on the site is broken.

There is a Report a problem button in the corner of every page. It is quicker than an email because it sends us the screen you were on when it happened, which is usually the thing we need to know.

Can I stop halfway and come back?

Yes. Everything saves as you answer, so you can close it mid-sentence and pick up where you left off. There is no time limit on finishing.

Are you going to sell my details on?

No. We do not sell your personal data and we take no commission from any supplier the product points you towards. A small number of suppliers help us run the service — hosting and email, for instance — and they are named in the privacy policy, because "we never share anything" would not be true of any real service.

A human reads every message and we aim to reply within one working day — so a Friday evening email is usually answered on Monday, not over the weekend.

It helps to include the email address you signed up with and the name of your project. It is the difference between us answering you first time and us writing back to ask.
